Tommaso Pobega and Aster Vranckx are battling it out to start in the midfield for AC Milan against Inter on Sunday evening, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), Milan coach Stefano Pioli is expected to switch to a midfield three for the match against the Nerazzurri.
That would mean using a 4-3-3 formation, but Ismael Bennacer is injured for the Derby della Madonnina.
This means that Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic have already been chosen to start the game, but the final place in the midfield can go to either Pobega or Vranckx.
It is expected that Pobega, the more experiences of the two, will be the man chosen to provide extra physicality in the midfield to combat Simone Inzaghi’s side in one of the biggest games of the season.
The match is set to kick off at 20:45 CET on Sunday at the Stadio San Siro.
Who ever will play, we will lose.
Vranckx with two broken legs should be miles ahead of Slowbega
i wonder who will be deployed as RW ? In my opinion in 433 formation, Messias is more suitable than Saele and Diaz. And CDK is able to play as CF in 433 because a CF in 433 should be mobile.
Give Vranckx a chance. We already know what Pobega is and it’s not good enough.
