Sky: Training resumes at Milanello – the latest on Origi, Rebic, Vranckx and Ibrahimovic

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan resumed training today and began their preparations for Sunday night’s huge clash against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

According to what Peppe Di Stefano reported on Sky (via MilanNews), there is some good news regarding the fitness of three players who missed out in the 5-1 win against Sampdoria on Saturday night.

Aster Vranckx, Divock Origi and Ante Rebic were all forced to sit on the sidelines for the last games due to muscle discomfort, but it was more precautionary and the trio have returned to working with the rest of the squad.

Alessandro Florenzi meanwhile did individual work on the field suggesting that he is not too far away from being available again, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains doing gym work and there are doubts about whether he will even make it back for the final game of the season against Verona the weekend after next.
