Udinese striker Beto reveals what Ibrahimovic told him and makes Scudetto prediction

Udinese striker Beto has revealed that received got a message from Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the league meeting between the two sides earlier in the season.

With 8 goals in 22 league games Beto is beginning to turn heads, and Milan found out first hand the threat that he carries as he scored the opening goal in the 1-1 draw at the Dacia Arena earlier in the season.

Il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) even reported in December that Beto could be the ideal profile for Milan who need future certainties in attack for the future. Beto is young, has high potential but also has the right physical mould for a striker in Pioli’s 4-2-3-1 formation.

However, Udinese would only consider a permanent deal for €15m because they need to trigger their obligation to buy for €7m plus €3m bonuses.

Beto spoke to Sportitaliamercato on the eve of the game between the Rossoneri and the Bianconeri at San Siro tomorrow night and he recalled his encounter with Ibra.

“Ibrahimovic said that I am strong and that I am doing well. We are confident for this match, we do not see it as a concern, there are no obvious matches in this season,” he said (via PianetaMilan).

“We can win against the leaders, it happened in the last round where the strongest teams on paper lost against the lower teams in the table.

“Scudetto? I think Inter win it, but Milan could win it too. They want it, they can play badly but they always want to win and this earns points.”
