CM: Milan begin negotiations to extend contract of talented youngster

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have begun the process of extending talented youngster Kevin Zeroli’s contract after his superb performances for the Primavera side this season.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri are keen to ensure that they keep Zeroli beyond the end of his current deal as he is now on the cusp of the first team and has the potential to become a valuable asset.

The 2005-born midfielder has been particularly good in the UEFA Youth League this season and last, netting six times in 15 games. His last was a backheel against Braga in the round of 16.

Zeroli is represented by Rafaela Pimenta and the talks are reportedly already at a good stage. The new deal should see Zeroli stay at Milan until 2028, with an option for an extra year that the club can trigger.

He is one of the most important young players at the club and that was shown by him getting the chance to make his Serie A debut against Sassuolo on December 30.

Along with Francesco Camarda (who is also in for a new contract), Jan-Carlo Simic, Davide Bartesaghi and Alex Jimenez, he is one of the young players at Milan that fans can expect to see more of in the near future if they continue to improve.
