CorSera: Chelsea’s Lukaku offered to Milan – why they instantly rejected

By Oliver Fisher -

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has offered himself to ‘everyone’ in his attempts to find a new club before the window closes, including AC Milan.

There is one week until the end of the market and several teams still have to offload the players who are not deemed a part of their plans, and this situation applies to Lukaku who seems to be on the way out of Chelsea.

As reported by Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), the lawyer Ledure – who represents the Belgian striker – approached Juventus, but without Dusan Vlahovic’s involvement in the operation the deal is struggling to take off.

Milan were offered the former Inter striker too, but they have no intention of welcoming such a character in the dressing room because of the fear it could upset the baalnce.

Roma are the latest club to have been offered Lukaku’s services. The operation is only possible, however, via a loan formula (which at the moment is excluded by the English club) and with his €12m salary partly covered.
