Journalist claims Krunic has survived injury scare while on Bosnia duty

By Oliver Fisher -

It seems as though AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic has escaped an injury problem while on international duty with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It had been a positive start to the international break for Krunic in the Euro qualifiers as he scored a brace against Iceland in the first half on Friday night en route to a commanding 3-0 win.

According to what is being reported by journalist Haris Mrkonja of N1, there were some fears of an injury for Krunic as he got hurt yesterday evening during a training session in Bratislava with the national team.

However, after further tests he was cleared by the medical staff to play, but he probably won’t be able to play 90 minutes tonight against Slovakia in Bosnia’s Euro 2024 qualifier. It remains to be seen if he is named in the line-up at all, or if he starts and is taken off in the second half.
