MN: Milan encounter difficulties in pursuit of young midfielder – new bid could be made

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have run into resistance from AS Nancy-Lorraine in their pursuit of midfielder Warren Bondo, according to a report.

The Milan management have shown a willingness to invest in talents not just for immediate insertion into the first team, but also those who could be ready in the not too distant future. Given that the Primavera will play in the UEFA Youth League next season, a strengthening of the academy is deemed important as they will now have a better stage to grow and develop.

According to the latest from Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews on Twitter, Milan have hit some resistance in their pursuit of the 17-year-old central midfielder Warren Bondo, as Ligue 2 side Nancy want €1.5-2m in order to let him leave this summer.

The Rossoneri could try again with a new assault in the coming days, but it is worth noting that the Frenchman’s contract expires in 2022 and he already has an agreement with Milan over personal terms.

  1. LOL. Here we go again. Same shit over and over. I do not get our transfer policy. Moncada arguably the best scout in world football finds these players yet we cannot close the deal and spend a few million? Kaio, Koné, etc…what an embarrassment.
