AC Milan goalkeeper Devis Vasquez is set to move on loan to English Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in a bid to secure more game time, a report claims.
As has been reported by Sky Sport (via Milan News), Vasquez is likely to be playing his football in the Championship at Hillsborough next season.
Sheffield Wednesday got promoted back to the Championship from League One next season and are now looking to bolster their goalkeeping options with the Colombian.
Vasquez arrived at Milan in January 2023 and given the injury to Mike Maignan at the time, there was scope for some appearances if he showed himself to be better than Ciprian Tatarusanu.
He failed to do so and now he will be sent on loan to continue his development. At 25 years of age, there is still plenty of time left in his career to impress and potentially become the number two at Milan.
Anything on Cathal Heffernan to Newcastle? We could be missing a beat letting him go.
Best signing since Antonio Donnarumma…..
Maldini had only 500.000 in Winter. Who did you want to see, Allison?
Nobody….
There’s no law that says you have to sign players.
(Although apparently there’s a law that says if you don’t sign enough non-EU players you lose a spot so I guess the law is stupid)
