The management team of Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada are working with Stefano Pioli to try and build a squad capable of improving on the 2022-23 season.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), two profiles that Milan are focusing on are Evan N’Dicka and Marcus Thuram, a centre-back and striker set to leave Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach on a free transfer respectively.
The Rossoneri face a battle with Roma for N’Dicka but the interest for Milan has slowed down the Giallorossi’s pursuit and at the same time it has tempted the player, given the prospect of playing in the Champions League.
As far as Thuram is concerned, he has an emotional bond with Italy and Milan. A few years ago he revealed to the press that when his father played in Serie A he was a fan of the Rossoneri.
The competition in this case are PSG, but Moncada will pitch the incentives of having a guaranteed key role and working with his compatriot Olivier Giroud.
Then there are targets for other roles, such Ruben Loftus-Cheek over whom contacts could be resumed in the next few days. His agent was supposed to be at Casa Milan on Monday but Maldini and Massara were dismissed on that day.
Regarding Daichi Kamada we are in a stand-by situation. The player’s entourage had a verbal agreement for a five-year contract but there have not yet been talks with the new management.
For the right wing, the new names are those of Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze from Chelsea and Villarreal respectively. The new leadership also intend to test the waters for Tommaso Baldanzi of Empoli as well.

I only see M & M being replaced by Furlani and Moncada..where are ALL the others? So much for the big talk! I am sure that M&M discussed their targets with the Mister.. So this is all bull!
These kinds of articles will make all the fans disappointed when the mercato ends. People will start to believe Milan could actually land these kinds of players while we all know (or should know) we’ll probably get 3-4 unknown players from Ligue 1 and that’s about it. Maybe Kamada too if he hasn’t decided to back out yet.

N’Dicka has medical booked w Roma next week but lure of playing in CL could sway him towards us – possible. But he would be back up to Tomori and backup LB to Theo? OR That would mean Tomori gone as I doubt he wants to sign to be a backup player at this stage in career.
Kamada wants to join us and fits our wage cap and provides cover in an area of need for FREE and we have seemingly backed out. Hmmmm.
Any attempt to sign pretty much any of these players plus the winger from V. Real or Okafor etc…means we are SELLING at least two of; Tomori Kalulu Sales, or just Leao on top of the other departures/sales (Rebic/Origi) .
35M budget plus sales of Origi and Rebic won’t get these done. Sales are coming per Scaroni. We will see whether that is a good think or not.
Actually Pulisic gets 5M€ net so he’d have to lower demands “only” by 1-1,5M€. Which shouldn’t surprise him after the season he had. No one is going to give him a raise.
And it seems if N’Dicka comes Milan would sell Kalulu or Tomori. Hopefully the latter.
But we’ll see… It’s going to be a looooooooooooong and exhausting summer. With zero positive surprises.
