Ante Rebic is just one step away from joining Besiktas, set to depart from Milan shortly and scheduled to land in Istanbul later today. Just the medical tests and the contract signing are missing for the Croatian.
Rebic had a falling out with Stefano Pioli towards the end of last season, excluded from the squad a couple of times as well as the US tour this summer. Therefore, the move was only a matter of time and when Besiktas came knocking, the player said yes.
Milan have agreed to sell the winger in a package deal worth €2m, that is including bonuses, and are just happy to get his salary off the wage bill. As captured by Luca Bendoni, Rebic arrived at the airport earlier today and will land in Istanbul later today to complete the move.
