The AC Milan Women have not been in action due to the international break, but there were some Rossonere players who did feature for their country.

Laura Giuliani played the full 90 minutes for Italy against the Netherlands last Friday. Italy beat the Dutch by a score of 2-0, reversing the same score that the Dutch beat Italy with back in 2019.

Giuliani did her part in the game and helped Italy keep a clean sheet. Laura was also in goal for Italy against Finland on Tuesday and the Azzurre lost the match 2-1.

Kosovare Asllani played the full 90 minutes for Sweden against England last Friday. The Swedish skipper helped her team secure a point at Wembley. Kosse also played 55 minutes for Sweden against France on Tuesday. Sweden lost 1-0 and are currently third in their qualification group, group A3.

The next international break will be on May 31st, thirteen days after Serie A Femminile finishes the second phase of their season.

In the meanwhile, now that the latest international break is over, the league will resume play this weekend. Milan will return to league action on April 14th. They’ll take on Napoli at the Vismara and kickoff will be at 15:00 CEST.
