secondly, assuming every single 18yr old defender in the world is comparable to Cubarsi is a stupid thing to do. It’s certainly not that common to have that much poise for a 17yr old and there are few historical cases of players that young playing in big games, especially for a defender.
thirdly, Barca’s youth system is stratospherically better than Milan’s. I don’t know the numbers but they probably spend more than 10x what Milan does on the youth sector. (Milan is trying to catch up, but they are light years behind talentwise and have no money)
